Many see Halloween as a fun candy-filled holiday. They enjoy the community-building benefits that a shared experience can bring.
However, this is not the case for all. Halloween celebrations are exclusionary for students who come from certain cultural or religious backgrounds.
Likewise, many see Christmas as a time for seeing relatives and having a good time. The same may be said for Hanukkah.
But Christmas celebrations are exclusionary for Jews and Hanukkah for Christians. Accordingly, Christmas and Hanukkah have been cancelled and will not be allowed.
